The Design of a Life: How One Mother Witnessed Human Design Light the Way
Written from the heart of RIZZO STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS — by a mother, mentor, and soul in transition
If you’ve ever known — deep in your body — that something unseen was guiding you… you’re not alone.
I’ve always been intuitive. I’ve always heard the whispers, felt the energy, and sensed God moving in ways I couldn’t always explain. I knew what rooms were safe and what decisions were right — even when logic told me otherwise. For most of my life, I kept that part of myself tucked inside. I led with strategy. I leaned on structure. I showed up strong.
But lately? I’ve stopped hiding the parts of me that always knew. This season — of menopause, of letting go, of starting over — has asked me to fully integrate.
And what I’ve found is this: When you finally stop separating your spiritual life from your real life… everything clicks into place.
⚡ A System, A Spark, A Surrender
When my daughter Edra first began studying something called Human Design about five years ago, I didn’t fully understand what it was — but I could see it lit her up. She followed her curiosity, dove into deep study, and started speaking about energy in a way that felt both fresh and familiar.
At first, I watched from a distance. I was curious, but cautious. But slowly — and gently — she started reflecting truths about me I had always felt but never had language for.
It turns out Human Design is a system that maps the energetic blueprint God wove into each of us. It doesn’t replace faith. It doesn’t tell you what to believe. It reveals how you were uniquely designed to move in the world. To create. To rest. To respond. To trust.
For me, it helped explain:
– Why I’ve always felt pulled to “do” and serve — I’m a Generator, created to respond with joy.
– Why burnout crept in when I pushed too hard — I wasn’t honoring my sacral wisdom.
– Why this season of menopause didn’t just change my hormones — it changed my energy field.
– Why I’m more selective now with who gets access to me — not out of fear, but alignment.
It gave me the words. And more importantly, it gave me permission.
🔁 A Generational Flip, A Sacred Exchange
We talk a lot about the younger generation learning from the older — but what if wisdom flows in both directions?
Watching Edra master this system — watching her light up when she reads a chart or connects a pattern — has been one of the greatest joys of my life. She didn’t force her knowledge on anyone. She simply lived it. Embodied it. Practiced it quietly. And now… it’s overflowing.
And here I am, the one who mentored her… sitting in awe as she becomes the expert.
They say it takes seven years to fully integrate Human Design. She’s five years in, and already helping others reclaim who they are. Not by fixing anyone — but by reminding them of how God created them.
That’s leadership. That’s legacy. That’s love.
🌳 Alignment Isn’t a Trend — It’s a Return
This journey has taught me that alignment is not something you find — it’s something you return to.
Human Design helped me remember who I’ve always been. It didn’t change my faith — it deepened it. It didn’t tell me how to behave — it helped me understand why certain things drained me and others gave me life.
And now, I don’t just want this for myself. I want this for my daughter. I want this for other women walking through change. I want this for the next generation who shouldn’t have to unlearn themselves before they feel worthy.
Because when we understand how we were made… we stop comparing.
When we learn how we generate, we stop competing.
And when we flip the internal switches that God gave us, we become part of a divine electrical circuit — supporting one another, lighting each other up.
This is the work. This is the call. This is the root of what we’re building at RIZZO STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS.
